On July 17, 2022 we celebrated our annual Women’s Day.  God truly used our speaker, Pastor Euricec Dawley of Virginia Beach, to bless us!  Focusing on our theme “Christian Women Restoring the Mind, Body, and Soul, she lifted up the text according to the Gospel of John 4:39-42.  We reflected on a moment in the life of the Samaritan Woman.  Pastor Dawley shared that we all needed to be “Restoring the Broken.” 

She reminded us that we are One Body in Christ working together to do God’s Will  The Samaritan woman was unaware of her brokenness until she met Jesus at Jacob’s well.  There she quenched an unknown thirst and received personal wholeness.  Pastor Dawley reminded all of us that we cannot be effective in serving others until we are healed from our own brokenness.
